Donate in memory

Making a donation in memory of a loved one is the perfect way to celebrate the life of someone who was passionate about our planet. Leaving a donation in memory will help protect our natural world long into the future.

By donating in memory, you can rest assured your loved one will live on through Greenpeace’s achievements. Many people prefer to request a gift in memory or make a collection instead of giving flowers at a funeral. Doing this means your loved one will continue to change the world through your gift.

For over 40 years, Greenpeace has been standing up to protect our rainforests, oceans and climate. In that time, we’ve made huge strides towards our vision of a green and peaceful world.

We defend the frozen Arctic, forcing Shell to drop its risky oil drilling plans

We protect rainforests, exposing companies destroying them for profit

We safeguard marine life, striving to remove the threat of plastic pollution

A donation in memory will support this vital work in your loved one’s name.

How to make a donation in memory

There are a number of ways you can donate in memory:

  • through our secure online donation form

A place in Greenpeace’s history

Your loved one’s name can also be added to our Book of Remembrance, weaving them into the history of Greenpeace. This book, kept in the Greenpeace UK office shows visitors, staff and volunteers the names of those who have made vital contributions to our work.

For inclusion in the Book of Remembrance or for any other questions, please contact Andrew Sturley, either by using the form below or by calling 020 7865 8116.

Andrew has worked at Greenpeace for many years and is passionate about defending our natural world, so he can tell you more about how to make a gift and how it will be used.
